Colorful envelopes and Mandala Painting
What I've been working on:

This is acrylic and colored pencil (my new favorite media, as uncouth as it might be) on a shipping box from China. The colors and animals are loosely based on the four humors, a theme I have begun to explore in some other new work that hasn't been photographed yet.

I screenprinted the words "save save save" and "spend spend spend" on various envelopes, but once I began arranging them, I didn't have enough of a range of colors. So I broke out my new favorite media (see above) and got to work. As of this writing, the whole top is pieced, just needs a border and to be quilted and bound.
